Nancy Sinatra, as
we know her today, is no longer just the
perky daughter of one of the greatest
Show Biz artists of all time. In fact
without formal voice training, this
petite, brown-eyed, brown-haired,
twenty-one-year-old vocalist has
blossomed into her own as a top
songstress on the heels of her famous
father Frank, and her husband, talented
actor-singer Tommy Sands.
Born in Jersey
City, New Jersey, to Frank and Nancy
Sinatra, young Nancy shortly moved to Los
Angeles, California, where she has
remained since her grammar school days.
She majored in Economics for 1 1/2 years
at the University of Southern California
before she married Tommy in 1960.
Already a
top-flight artist and a firm favourite
throughout the world, Nancy has had no
fewer than 12 records reach the million
selling mark. Her voice is listened to
and known in practically every country on
the globe. In fact, in Japan Nancy is
undisputed "Queen of the Teens"
as far as music goes, and is very rapidly
reaching the same status in South Africa.
For this album we
have selected 11 of Nancy's top hits, and
here they are:
